The driver is responsible for transporting heavy loads and equipment on flatbed trailers to meet customer needs. They must ensure all items are transported according to schedule requirements while returning home daily.
Candidates must have a CDL Class A license with at least 3 years of experience in flatbed transport and a clean driving record. Proficiency in securing loads using straps and chains, as well as experience with knuckle booms and crane trucks, is required.

What You Will Be Responsible For In This Position:
The successful candidate will be responsible for solving our customer's needs by transporting heavy loads and items on flatbed trailers. The CDL A Driver will transport equipment per schedule requirements and can expect to be home daily.
We Seek A Candidate With the Following Background:
The requirements for the successful candidate will be a CDL A Driver with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in transporting heavy loads and items on flatbed trailers. A qualified candidate should have full knowledge of the ways and means of securing a load safely, straps, chains, tie downs, weight & height limits, etc. We seek a candidate with previous experience with knuckle booms with truck stabilizers, crane trucks, and folk lifts. As safety is key at Longo, the candidate needs to possess a clean driving record and be available to report to our Wharton NJ facility daily.
