The fixed wing pilot is responsible for the safe operation of Pilatus aircraft to transport critically ill or injured patients. They must also perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections, plan flights, and maintain accurate logs and records.
Candidates must hold an FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate and have a minimum of 5 years of professional pilot experience. Specific flight hour requirements include 2500 hours PIC time, 1500 turbine hours, and 500 hours in a turbo prop aircraft.

The fixed wing pilot is responsible for safely operating Pilatus aircraft to facilitate the transport of critically ill and/or injured patients. Fixed wing pilots possess strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people, one-on-one and in large groups, sometimes in highly stressful situations. The fixed wing pilot will be required to work varied shifts and may be required to be available for on call shifts.
