Job Description
As a Production Manager, you oversee all manufacturing operations to ensure products are delivered to customers on time, at the required quality level, and at an optimized cost. You play a key role in leading production teams, improving processes, and coordinating closely with logistics, quality, engineering, and other plant functions.
Responsibilities
Lead all production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Develop and implement production plans that meet customer requirements for quality, cost, and delivery.
Manage and optimize human, material, and equipment resources to maximize plant performance.
Ensure compliance with established production standards and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity, quality, and operational stability.
Collaborate with Engineering to support new product launches and ensure production readiness.
Partner with Quality teams to implement and sustain continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Promote employee development, workplace safety, environmental compliance, and healthy working conditions
Experience Requirements
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Technical Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
4+ years of experience in a similar production leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in the automotive industry, preferably within a Just-in-Time (JIT) production environment.
Familiarity with production planning systems, including SAP/MRP, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong leadership, team management, communication, continuous improvement, quality, and health and safety knowledge
