The Site Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations, supervision of staff, maintenance of Oklahoma department of human service licensing compliance, maintaining NAEYC (national association for the education of young children) accreditation, and using best practices for the indoor classroom and outdoor nature explore certified classroom.
Essential Job Duties
Responsible for day to day operations at the center (including staff coverage, and supporting kitchen staff)
Replies to emails and messages in a timely manner (within 24 hours)
Supervises personnel, volunteers and interns
Appoints staff in charge when absent from facility (and inform staff of protocol)
Professional registry up to date (provide access to program director)
Clerical duties (DHS swipes, billing, childcare payments, ordering office materials, and monitoring petty cash)
Time off approval (ensuring proper coverage and following agency policies)
Evaluations for staff being supervised
CACFP (meal counts, daily serving forms, menu support, monitor attendance, maintain receipts in order)
Maintains NAEYC accreditation
Order’s school materials and office supplies must be submitted to program director for approval
Maintenance concerns addressed and resolved submit pink maintenance form to office manager
Schedule staff meetings as required for OKDHS licensing
Meets bi-weekly with administration team
Supervises that staff are implementing best practices in the indoor and outdoor learning environment
Other duties as pertaining to child development department

QualificationsPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with business needs. Exempt employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require, Evenings, Saturday or Sundays if necessary.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Education: Bachelor’s degree in education/early childhood
Experience: Experience in operating an early childhood development center
