Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance across manufacturing and logistics operations. Manage interactions with regulatory agencies and lead safety training, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness programs.
Requires 10-15 years of EHS experience in manufacturing and warehouse environments, specifically supporting start-up and expansion operations. A Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is required, with preferred certifications as a Registered Competent Person for Scheduled Waste and a Safety and Health Officer.
At Lam, as an EH&S Engineer, you're instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental safety programs and policies. Ensuring compliance with regulations, you'll perform safety inspections, conduct trainings, and oversee hazardous waste vendors and processes. Your expertise spans to life safety, workplace ergonomics, and monitoring industrial health compliance. Acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies you'll not only stay current but also reinforce Lam's commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
