You will be responsible for building high-quality harness assemblies and performing incoming quality inspections for contract manufacturing. Additionally, you will manage prototype test setups, maintain lab inventories, and perform testing on electrical components and assemblies.
The role requires 5+ years of experience in an R&D or development lab environment and proficiency with soldering, multimeters, and crimping tools. Candidates must be able to read harness drawings and work effectively within a team setting.

The company delivers freight daily for its customers across the southern United States using its autonomous technology. In 2024, Kodiak became the first known company to publicly announce delivering a driverless semi-truck to a customer. Kodiak is also leveraging its commercial self-driving software to develop, test and deploy autonomous capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense.
In this role, you will help build and test critical hardware products for Kodiak autonomous trucks. We’re looking for someone to be hands-on with our products as well as an experienced technician who is able to support a diverse set of technical projects. An ideal candidate is someone who is local to the Bay Area and excited to collaborate with a diverse and dedicated team.

Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors including: work location, experience, relevant training, education, skill level and performance during interview.
