Coordinate and maintain staff rosters for Locomotive Engineers and Terminal teams to ensure safe and efficient network operations. Respond to real-time roster changes and absences while resolving staffing queries effectively.
Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a solution-focused mindset, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Experience in roster coordination and knowledge of the Holidays Act or Rest and Meal Breaks Amendment Act is advantageous.

As a Duty Roster Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role at the centre of KiwiRail’s operations. You’ll be responsible for coordinating rosters for Locomotive Engineers, Terminal, and Container Terminal teams, ensuring our network runs safely and efficiently.
