Kimbell Art Museum seeking outgoing individuals to work in the Kimbell Café.
Washes all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwasher.
Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
4 free tickets to every Kimbell exhibition.
Free admission to other museums with staff ID.
Free Parking.
Employee discount in the Café and Museum Shops.
Uniform Shirt provided.
Qualifications
May be scheduled for up to 29 hours per week. Daily schedule may include Tuesdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with some flexibility allowed. No Mondays.
Must have a positive attitude and enjoy interacting with the public.
Prior basic knowledge of food preparation, a plus.
Physical demands of the job include but are not limited to:
Standing and walking during entire your shift
Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours and carries supplies
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight on a semi regular basis
Completion of background and drug screening authorization form required.
