The Collision Repair Technician Helper assists lead technicians with vehicle body and frame repairs, including sanding, welding, and parts installation. They are also responsible for maintaining shop cleanliness, ensuring safety compliance, and documenting repair details.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Six months of related collision repair experience is preferred, along with the physical ability to lift over 50 lbs and perform manual labor.
The Collision Repair Technician Helper is responsible for assisting in performing high-quality repairs to damaged vehicle bodies and frames, restoring them to manufacturer specification and pre-accident condition using a variety of tools, techniques, and equipment. This role requires a basic understanding of collision repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with lead technicians, estimators, painters, and other team members to deliver timely repairs that align with both company and industry standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
