The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment by washing dishes, pots, and utensils. They also handle waste management and ensure kitchen equipment and surfaces are properly sanitized.
Candidates must be able to follow instructions in English and operate dishwashing equipment safely. Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are required.
We're are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team! This role is essential to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring our residents receive meals with properly sanitized dishes and utensils. Success in this position requires dependability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
In this role, you will:
Maintain Cleanliness: Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils according to cleaning schedules and procedures
Set Up and Operate: Prepare dishwashing and pot washing areas, and operate equipment properly
Distribute and Store: Return clean dishes and utensils to their proper storage locations
Clean Kitchen Areas: Sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and surfaces as scheduled
Handle Waste Management: Remove trash and maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and kitchen areas
We’re looking for someone who:
Understands and follows instructions in English
Can safely and efficiently operate dishwashing equipment
Demonstrates strong time management and attention to detail
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
