Provide critical support to Project Managers and Superintendents across all phases of complex commercial construction projects. Key duties include managing submittals, drafting RFIs, coordinating subcontractor scopes, and maintaining project documentation.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture and prior experience with a commercial general contractor. Candidates must possess a valid Washington State Driver's License and be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Description
At JTM Construction, the role of the Project Engineer is to provide critical support to both the Project Manager and Superintendent on complex commercial construction projects. Project Engineers are involved in all phases of the project, from estimation through project closeout.
The Project Engineer must be able to work closely with others in a team environment. The individual must be professional and self-motivated with strong oral and written communication skills, dependable, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. This position requires travel in the greater Seattle area, depending on the project’s needs.
The full salary range for this position is $80,000 – $110,000, depending on direct professional experience and qualifications. The bonus target for this role is 3%-10% of annual base earnings.
