Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team and support the upkeep of our facilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in hands-on work and maintaining a safe, functional environment. The Maintenance Assistant will work closely with the maintenance team to perform routine tasks and assist with repairs, ensuring our premises remain in optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance
• Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting and resolving equipment or facility issues
• Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance storage areas and tools
• Document maintenance activities and report any safety hazards or urgent repairs
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and tools
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Prior experience in maintenance or facilities management is a plus but not required
