The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care by rooming patients, recording vital signs, and assisting providers during examinations. They are also responsible for administering injections, performing basic lab tests, and managing clinical supplies and sterilization.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least six months of clinical experience. Proficiency in medical terminology, EMR systems, and strong communication skills are required, while MA and Phlebotomy certifications are preferred.
