Purpose of Role
To support the KG Class Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for kindergarten students, assisting in academic activities, classroom management, and childcare as per early childhood education practices.
CSA KG Assistant Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the KG Class Teacher in conducting daily classroom activities and lessons. Support children in learning basic concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, shapes, and rhymes. Help in classroom management, discipline, and smooth transitions between activities. Provide individual attention to students during classwork, playtime, and learning activities. Assist children with personal care needs such as hygiene, meals, and nap time. Prepare and organize teaching aids, worksheets, toys, and learning materials. Ensure child safety, cleanliness, and hygiene within the classroom always. Help in organizing celebrations, events, and co-curricular activities. Communicate observations about students’ behaviour and progress to the class teacher. Follow CBSE early childhood guidelines and school policies. Perform any other duties assigned by school authorities.
