Job Summary: The Payroll Administrator position is responsible for corporate, manager and specific store payroll. The Payroll Administrator completes various period and quarterly reports for the Operators. The Payroll Administrator is responsible for both exempt and non-exempt payroll in all states Islands does business in and is required to maintain strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations in relevant states. The Payroll Administrator is in constant communication with all levels of company management and is expected to communicate with various government agencies and vendors on payroll related matters. The Payroll Administrator provides accurate, professional, and prompt customer service support for Islands on all compensation related matters.
Processes payroll, payroll audits, and all employee profile changes including, but not limited to: transfers, promotions, demotions, wage changes, job changes, terminations, and new hires.
Demonstrates general knowledge of payroll labor laws for areas of responsibility.
Completes various reports such as, but not limited to Tip Report, BLS, and Multiple Worksite Reports.
Reconciles deductions and payments for Shoes for Crews program.
Proficient in Human Capital Management Systems, Paycom experience preferred.
Positive, professional, and accurate written and verbal communication with employees and management at all levels.
Provides assistance to auditors (internal and external) by providing reports and answering questions as needed.
Issues off cycle checks.
Performs various tasks and projects as needed within the HR and Payroll department.

QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
· High School Diploma required.
· One year payroll experience, or equivalent coursework, preferred.
· Previous multi-unit payroll experience preferred.
· Prefer previous experience in a corporate support role.
· Flexible attitude and teamwork.
· Strong basic understanding of Excel required.
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Communicates with all levels of staff, vendors, and government officials on a daily basis.
· Must be able to manage multiple tasks, large projects, and time restraints.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
