The Metrology Engineer will set up and conduct experiments on optical tables, including alignment, assembly, and testing of laser-based components. They will also develop measurement methodologies, control plans, and participate in the design of new laser-based measurement tools.
Candidates must have an advanced degree in Science or Engineering with a focus on Optics or Lasers, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience. Hands-on experience with optical metrology, test equipment, and programming in Python or MATLAB is required.
