The Histotechnologist will perform gross examination and dissection of surgical pathology specimens and process GYN and non-GYN cytology samples. They are also responsible for tissue processing, microtomy, staining, and maintaining accurate documentation within the laboratory information system.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree meeting CLIA high complexity requirements and possess HTL (ASCP) or HT (ASCP) certification. Prior experience in surgical pathology or a reference laboratory, along with competency in grossing and cytology techniques, is required.
