Build and expand a client portfolio within the American and Caribbean markets through active lead generation and frequent travel. Collaborate with internal Purchase, Logistics, and Finance departments to maintain long-term client partnerships.
Candidates must be based in Rotterdam and possess an excellent command of both Spanish and English. A hands-on mentality, stress resistance, and an affinity for commodity trading are required.
Entrepreneurship is within your capacity to fulfill this role at International Food Connectors. You’ll have the opportunity to build your client portfolio, create leads, or expand the American & Caribbean market. To engage (long-term) relationships with your current and potential clients, you'll be traveling frequently to maintain these partnerships. You’re not afraid to chase new business by actively developing and creating leads via phone, WhatsApp, or email. You’re willing to go the extra mile and you’re not afraid to take a leap of faith. You’ll be working closely with different internal stakeholders, such as your colleagues in the Purchase, Logistics, and Finance departments. Last but certainly not least, you’ll have the chance to attend different food expos around the world! International Food Connectors is frequently present at international expos, such as the Americas Food & Beverage Show in Miami, the Seafood Expo in Barcelona, and the Americas Expo in Guatemala.
At International Food Connectors, we operate with +/- 40 colleagues in different departments. With our international team of colleagues, our working language is English both for written and oral communication. The American & Caribbean team is managed by Guillaume Motte, who is visibly part of the Trading team (15 colleagues and counting). Teamwork makes dream work! Trading is our core business and the company's most fast-paced department.
For this open position, we're looking for candidates with an excellent command of both the Spanish and English languages. Dutch is a plus!

Working fulltime, 40 hours a week
Our office is based in Rotterdam (Wilhelminaplein) with a million-dollar view
International Food Connectors offers quarterly bonus payouts based on your personally successful deals
Salary from €3215 – €4823 based on 40 hours a week, seniority and experience
Based on performance and evaluation moments, you may be eligible for an annual salary increase
Our learning and development budget is €2000,- per employee per year
Travel allowance of €0.23 per km by car or full reimbursement for public transportation
