Full job description

About Us:

Intelligo is a pioneering due diligence platform providing background information on people and companies worldwide. We’re a well-funded Series B company with proven product-market fit and revenue growth.

Our mission is to empower trust. Some of the most sophisticated institutional investors, investment banks, law firms, and corporations use our AI-powered platform to manage the risk of transacting with new people and businesses. Our Clarity product is a one-stop solution delivering quick checks, detailed reports, and continuous monitoring with ease, speed, and accuracy.

About the role:

We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented Strategic Risk Analyst to join our research team. In this role, you will support the end-to-end due diligence process across transactions, investments, and partnerships — gathering, verifying, and synthesizing information to help stakeholders make well-informed decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to develop deep expertise in research methodology and risk assessment within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct background research on companies and individuals using public records and proprietary research tools.

  • Assist in the preparation of due diligence reports, summarizing findings clearly and accurately for clients.

  • Review and analyze corporate documents, litigation records, media and social media posts, as well as regulatory filings.

  • Identify and flag potential risks (legal, financial, reputational, and operational) and escalate issues to senior researchers.

  • Respond to client inquiries and questions.

  • Support the team in monitoring ongoing engagements and updating previous assessments as new information becomes available.

  • Work directly with client contacts in legal, compliance, and deal teams to ensure research findings provide accurate information and context to inform transactional decisions.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to research and analysis.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a deadline-driven environment.

  • A genuine interest in research, analysis, and the ever-evolving field of due diligence.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Specific background check and/or due diligence experience

  • Familiarity with databases such as Westlaw, Bloomberg, LexisNexis, or Factiva.

  • Understanding of AML/KYC regulatory frameworks or corporate compliance

  • principles.

  • Experience analyzing litigation records or company filings.

What we offer

In addition to joining a creative, global company, as our employee you'll enjoy:

  • Generous PTO and vacation policy

  • 401k, automatic employer contribution

  • Health, Dental, & Vision coverage

Location: Remote, East Coast working hours.

Intelligo is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to equal opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, gender, gender identity, genetic information, parental or pregnancy status, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or veteran status.
