The Regional Scientific Director establishes trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals to provide scientific education on CRISPR-based gene editing programs. They also support Phase 3 clinical trial activities, including site activation, recruitment, and addressing operational barriers.
Candidates must hold a doctorate level degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O.) and possess at least 3 years of industry or related field experience. Extensive experience with Phase 3 clinical trials and prior pharmaceutical industry experience as an MSL or RSD is required.

The Regional Scientific Director (Associate Director level) serves in a customer-facing medical role to establish trusted partnerships within the healthcare community covering Intellia’s CRISPR-based, first-in-class gene editing programs. Key responsibilities include scientific exchange, medical education and insight identification with PIs, KOLs, healthcare multidisciplinary teams and referral HCPs. RSDs will support both the nex-z and lonvo-z programs.
Mid-Atlantic Region will include: Maryland, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina
The RSDs will focus their engagement efforts to KOLs and trial sites providing the following:

The base salary for this position is expected to range between $216,000.00 - $264,000.00 USD per year.The salary offered is determined based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant education and training, overall related experience, specialized, rare or in-demand skill sets, internal comparators and other business needs. Upon joining Intellia, your salary will be reviewed periodically and additional factors such as time in role and performance will be considered. Intellia may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Additional compensation includes a performance-based annual cash bonus, a new hire equity grant, and eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards the value of which are determined annually at the Company’s discretion.
