The Material Engineer will develop printable concrete formulations and build a material platform for industrial 3D concrete printing. They will also analyze material data to improve print quality and manage technical coordination with raw material suppliers.
Candidates must hold a degree in construction engineering, material science, or a related field with several years of practical experience in concrete development. Strong knowledge of concrete technology, rheology, and material standards is required, along with proficiency in German and English.

Als Material Engineer entwickelst du nicht nur neue Betonrezepturen mit Partnern, sondern baust die Materialplattform für den industriellen 3D-Betondruck auf.

Our goal is to build faster, more sustainably, and more economically with 3D concrete printing. As a spin-off of the Putzmeister Group, we combine decades of expertise with entrepreneurial spirit. With the INSTATIQ P1, we offer an industrial solution for 3D concrete printing. Similar to a 3D printer, it creates three-dimensional structures layer by layer using conventional concrete. Equipped with a 26-meter-long robotic arm and millimeter-precise accuracy, it transforms BIM models into load-bearing walls directly on the construction site – without the need for complex formwork.
