Why we're hiring:

As InfoSum continues to scale within WPP, we are seeking a Data Solutions lead for the South Asia region, to drive commercial growth through deep engagement across the WPP ecosystem, as well as with clients and partners directly.

This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive adoption of InfoSum’s platform and associated data products across:

• WPP internal investment teams, partnerships and data strategy
• Client leads and teams
• Advertiser clients directly
• Media Owners and Media Partners directly
• Data Vendors and Data Partners directly
  
  

Reporting into regional commercial leadership in Data, Technology and Solutions, this role will act as a senior commercial lead within a matrixed environment, building influence across internal and external stakeholders to unlock new revenue opportunities and expand existing relationships.

This is a high-impact, individual contributor role requiring strong enterprise sales capability, credibility with senior stakeholders, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-party sales cycles.

 

What you'll be doing:

• Drive direct and indirect revenue growth through sales closure and strategic engagement across the WPP network, including investment teams, media solutions, agency partners, and client-facing teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders, positioning InfoSum as a core enabler of privacy-first data collaboration
• Work closely with the InfoSum regional commercial leaders, solutions engineering, customer success, and product teams to deliver cohesive go-to-market execution
• Partner with local market leads to ensure strategic and coordinated growth of data and technology solutions in each market, across priority verticals.
• Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, engaging multiple stakeholders across client organisations
• Articulate InfoSum’s value proposition clearly in senior-level discussions, proposals, and commercial negotiations
• Represent InfoSum at industry events, client meetings, and internal WPP forums as a trusted commercial partner and subject-matter expert
• Deliver on:
  • Revenue and KPI targets as set for the InfoSum platform, other data product rollout and associated revenues and any and all other revenue targets as applied to this role within the scope of Data and Technology
  • Business Development lead and lag metrics as applied, related to the growth of InfoSum and Data Solutions within WPP.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in line with regional commercial expectations

What you'll need:

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in enterprise SaaS or platform sales, ideally within marketing technology, advertising technology or data technology.
• Proven experience selling complex solutions involving multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles
• Strong network and credibility within marketing, advertising, media, or data-driven organisations
• Demonstrable success in communicating complex value propositions, developing proposals, and responding to RFPs/RFIs
• Experience in business development, scaling a business and partnership management
• Experience working within or alongside large, matrixed organisations (agency networks a strong advantage)
• Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills, and deal ownership
• Personal qualities including integrity, resilience, collaboration, and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset
