The Lab Assistant prepares blood donor samples for testing, performs quality control, and supports Bench Techs in ensuring product accuracy. They are also responsible for preparing components, labeling products, and managing shipping preparations.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with previous medical field experience or an Associate's degree preferred. Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to stand for long periods, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Our Processing Laboratory Lab Assistants prepare blood donor samples for testing, perform quality control testing and provide support to the Bench Techs to help ensure the right product gets to the right patient. In addition, our Lab Assistants prepare components, release and label products, and prepare products for shipping.
This is a Fulltime position working 1st Shift with every other Saturday and Holiday rotation.
