The driver manages the logistics and distribution of food rescue pickups and meal deliveries. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate delivery logs and assisting with kitchen operations when not driving.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid Ohio driver's license, and a clean driving record. Weekend availability is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Position Summary: The Food Rescue Driver supports logistics and distribution operations for Ro's Kitchen/Columbus Food Rescue. This position completes scheduled and impromptu food rescue pickups and meal deliveries, ensuring safe transport and supporting documentation requirements tied to CSBG and other funding sources.

Work Environment
Regular driving throughout Franklin County and surrounding areas is required. Employees may work in varying and sometimes extreme weather conditions, including heat, rain, snow, ice, cold temperatures, and severe weather common to Central Ohio. Duties require frequent entering and exiting of vehicles, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and working in kitchen, warehouse, and food handling environments. Employees must follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures at all times.
