About the Role :
📍 Aarhus, Danmark (Hybrid)
As Senior Group Controller, your day-to-day work will be shaped by exciting and challenging tasks that require both in-depth analysis and the ability to translate numbers into concrete decisions and actions.
Key responsibilities :
• Month-end and year-end close: Consolidation of the group's financial statements, as well as responsibility for the annual audit in cooperation with local advisors and auditors
• Transfer pricing: Preparation and maintenance of intercompany pricing, documentation and ongoing reconciliation of intercompany balances
• ERP implementation: Active participation in the roll-out of a new group ERP system, including requirements specification, data cleansing and local roll-out across individual entities
• Commercial analysis: Supporting management's decisions with margin analyses, business cases and ad hoc analyses in collaboration with the Finance Director and Group CFO
• Financial reporting: Preparing and optimising reporting to management, the board and external stakeholders, and ensuring accurate data and timely delivery
• Internal controls: Developing and implementing robust controls that ensure quality and reduce the risk of errors across the group's many entities
What we're looking for
• A degree in finance such as cand.merc.aud. or HD-R
· Someone with a solid financial background and hands-on experience with group accounts.
• 5+ years of experience as a controller in an international company, or several years of experience in audit at a larger accounting firm
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with large volumes of data
• The ability to take full ownership and a genuine drive to lead change in an organisation that is still evolving
• Strong communication skills in English
