The Patient Care Aide provides direct nursing care to patients, including meeting their physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. They also assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must have completed a High School diploma or GED. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required before the conclusion of the orientation period.

The Patient Care Aide must exhibit the ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds; to organize, set priorities and manage multiple priorities, and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
