The Opportunity:

We’re looking for an outstanding individual to join our team in a dual role focusing on sales (70%) and supporter engagement (30%). This exciting opportunity is ideal for a self-starter with experience in sales, fundraising and/or marketing-related areas.

The sales portion of this role involves both new business development and account management as you create partnerships with sponsors who want to promote their services through our radio, digital and online platforms. You will also have the joy and privilege of building and nurturing relationships with the amazing community of the station’s financial supporters. You will be joining at an exciting time for the ministry, building a dynamic, connected community with a shared purpose.

The role involves:

• Prospecting, cold calling and conducting sales appointments to achieve monthly targets
• Acting as a ‘media consultant’ with your sponsors – identifying their business needs and creating a campaign package to suit
• Maintaining accurate database information
• Identifying and presenting opportunities for high-capacity individuals to contribute financially
• Cultivating, nurturing and growing engagement with potential and newly acquired supporters
• Praying with and for our valued supporters and listeners.

• You have sales, fundraising and/or marketing experience, OR transferrable experience from other fields and outstanding people skills

• You have demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
• You are excellent in personal organisation, prioritisation, and time management
