The Opportunity

Pearlz Oyster & Raw Bar in Columbia's Vista District is one of the city's favorite destinations for fresh seafood, handcrafted cocktails and genuine hospitality.

Connected to Kaminsky's Dessert Café and featuring an upstairs bar and lounge, this is a unique opportunity to help lead multiple guest experiences within one of South Carolina's busiest entertainment districts.

From Gamecock football weekends and concerts to festivals and year-round events, it's action packed. We're looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing people and knows how to keep a team focused while delivering exceptional hospitality.

What You'll Do

• Partner with the General Manager to lead daily operations for Pearlz Oyster & Raw Bar, the upstairs lounge and support the adjoining Kaminsky's Dessert Café.

• Coach, develop and inspire both management and hourly team members.

• Foster a culture built on hospitality, accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through visible, hands-on leadership.

• Help drive sales, profitability, labor performance and operational excellence.

• Recruit, hire, train and develop future Homegrown Hospitality Group leaders.

• Lead confidently during Gamecock football weekends, festivals, concerts and other high-volume events.

• Build relationships throughout the Columbia community while representing both Pearlz and Homegrown Hospitality Group.

What We're Looking For

• Two or more years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.

• A passion for coaching, mentoring and developing people.

• Strong financial and operational leadership, including labor management and cost controls.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• A collaborative leader who leads with humility, accountability and a genuine passion for hospitality.

• The ability to stay calm, organized and positive in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as business demands.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $62,000–$68,000 annually, based on experience
