The Certified Medical Assistant performs routine clinical and administrative tasks, including assisting with patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, and specimen collection. They are also responsible for maintaining medical supplies, documenting patient care, and handling clerical duties such as scheduling and registration.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of an accredited medical assistance program. A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) license is required, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 60 days of hire.
