The RN provides direct patient care and instructs patients and families on the administration of infusion therapy. Responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, training caregivers, and coordinating supplies with the pharmacy.
The candidate must be a Registered Nurse capable of performing nursing evaluations and delivering home-based infusion care. They must be able to document compliance and provide feedback to the healthcare team.
