Oversee the full lifecycle of building operations, maintenance, and physical asset management for a mixed-use residential and commercial building. Lead the in-house maintenance team and manage third-party vendors to ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in building operations or facilities management, preferably in large multi-residential settings. Candidates should have strong knowledge of Ontario building and fire codes, OHSA, and proficiency in work order systems like Yardi.
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of building operations, maintenance, and physical asset management at a newly delivered 1,140-unit residential rental building in Toronto. The building includes ground floor commercial/retail space; the Facilities Manager is the primary maintenance lead for both the residential and commercial components. This role leads the in-house maintenance team), manages all 3rd-party trade vendors, owns the preventive maintenance program, and serves as the primary emergency response lead. The Facilities Manager is a hands-on operational leader who ensures the building's systems, safety, and physical condition meet the highest standards across all uses.
The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000. The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, and relevant education or training.
Base salary is only one component of Hazelview’s competitive total rewards package.
