The Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for treating assigned patients, which includes obtaining accurate prescriptions and documenting according to departmental policy. They utilize various occupational therapy techniques under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and hold current OTA licensure by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy. Additionally, they must have current certification by the NBCOT and AHA/ARC BLS certification.
