The Peer Advocate provides recovery-focused support, community education, and outreach to individuals impacted by substance use or mental health challenges. They facilitate support groups, build community connections, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assist individuals in their recovery journey.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and lived experience with substance use or mental health recovery. A willingness to obtain Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) training is required, and bilingual skills in English and Chinese are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Compensation: $48,000 - $50,000 depending on qualifications, certifications, and experience.
Excellent benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 15 vacation days, 12 sick days, 3 personal days, and 12 paid agency-wide holidays.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
