Performs engineering work to solve technical problems related to the research, design, and manufacture of Gulfstream aircraft. The role involves managing complex engineering assignments and ensuring project milestones are met through established schedules and policies.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with at least 18 months of related experience. Candidates must be familiar with Systems Engineering principles, MBSE methods, and requirements management tools.
Unique Skills:
1. Familiar with Systems Engineering principles of Requirements Management, Validation, Verification, Change Management, Process Assurance and Functional Integration.
2. Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) methods to apply Requirements Development
2. Support current Systems Engineering processes and assist in driving their use for future projects and programs.
3. Support open communication channels with the aircraft system owners and management, to ensure the processes are understood and adhered in accordance with the program objectives.
4. Familiar with program milestones and deliverables that support a program/project.
5. Familiar with Requirements Management databases and tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, Siemens Teamcenter, MATLAB (System Composer), Cameo, etc.,) used for Systems Engineering.
6. Support development of standards and guides for Systems Engineering processes and methods
