The Assistant Superintendent supports the Superintendent in managing day-to-day on-site operations and long-term planning for major heavy civil MTO projects. Key duties include ensuring compliance with drawings, monitoring safety and quality control, and managing costs and schedules.
Requires 4+ years of progressive construction experience in Ontario, specifically with MTO and municipal projects. An EIT or CET designation is preferred, along with a proven track record of leading high-volume self-performed operations.
Reporting to the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will support active major heavy civil MTO project. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for actively managing multiple duties, taking part in both day-to-day operations and long-term project planning.
