Operate plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment to produce high-quality containers while ensuring safety and efficiency. Perform mold changes, basic processing adjustments, and preventative maintenance to minimize scrap and maximize production.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience and the ability to maintain punctual attendance. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
Graham Packaging Company is looking for a Machine Operator II based in Mason, OH. This opening is for Night Shift, which operates during the hours of 6:48pm-7:00am on a 2-2-3 schedule (working every other weekend).
The Operator is responsible for operating a given number of plastic blow molding machines (including in-line equipment), and makes necessary adjustments or minor repairs to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient and high quality manner. The primary duties of an Operator include:
A minimum of 2 years in manufacturing required.
Operators are required to interact with managers, employees, vendors, and customers. Therefore, the following skills and proficiencies are also essential requirements of the position:
