The Mechanical Supervisor will lead a team of tradespeople to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems within HMP Pentonville. You will oversee maintenance tasks and coordinate with various departments to maintain a secure and functional environment for staff and prisoners.
Candidates must have at least five years of experience as a plumber and hold relevant qualifications including NVQ level 3 in Plumbing. Familiarity with Water Supply Regulations and Legionella L8 requirements is essential for this role.

We aim to progress these business improvements and efficiencies over the coming years to develop our position as a reliable, safe, trusted and efficient business to underpin the core operations of the Southern prison estate. Delivering our services in Prisons is challenging, but rewarding - our people enable a key part of the Justice system to work: allowing offenders to be housed securely and safely, with dignity, and helping the Prison Service reduce reoffending by providing opportunities for offenders to have purposeful activity, develop skills and gain experience of work - in this we currently support over a million hours per year of offender work across the 49 prisons we maintain.
