Join our team as a Project Architect!
Gorman & Company is seeking a Project Architect to join our Colorado Architecture team based in our Denver office. In this role, you'll lead the design and documentation of multifamily developments from concept through construction, collaborating with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders to bring impactful communities to life. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architect who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about creating high-quality housing and community-focused developments.
What You'll Do
Lead architectural design and construction documentation for multifamily and hospitality projects
Coordinate with development, construction, engineering, and consulting teams throughout all project phases
Oversee building code reviews and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Manage project schedules, budgets, specifications, and consultant deliverables
Support municipal approvals, lender reviews, and historic preservation requirements as needed
Produce and manage RFIs, construction bulletins, change orders, and other project documentation
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure projects meet design, financial, and operational goals
What You'll Bring
5+ years of architectural experience focused on multifamily housing projects
Architectural license in Colorado or active progress toward licensure required
Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and complex project requirements
Experience with affordable housing, LIHTC, or hospitality projects is a plus
Valid drivers license & proof of vehicle liability insurance
Ability to work a hybrid schedule from our Denver office
