The US Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing the US tax function, including corporate tax provisions, compliance, and indirect tax reporting. They will collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to manage tax strategies, audits, and process optimizations.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of US tax experience and hold a CPA or equivalent designation with post-designation experience. Proficiency in US GAAP and strong analytical skills are required for this role.

Reporting to the Director, Global Tax, the US Tax Manager is responsible for the oversight of Global Relay’s dynamic United States tax function. The US Tax Manager is familiar with key concepts of US taxation, such as corporate tax, indirect taxes (sales and use tax), and other tax regimes that may be applicable to Global Relay such as gross receipts and franchise taxes. The US Tax Manager is highly collaborative with our Financial Reporting, AR & Billing, and Payroll teams to work to ensure that US tax compliance is timely and accurate. The US Tax Manager takes a broad strategic view of the tax function while ensuring comprehensive analysis and problem solving of tax matters and is involved in international tax matters outside of the US.
Compensation:
Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbia’s pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background.
The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values. We aim to foster an inspiring work environment and support employees' work-life rhythms.
