The Commissioning Project Lead oversees the design, installation, and commissioning of critical systems and IT infrastructure within data centre environments. They are responsible for leading commissioning workshops, managing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with specifications throughout the construction and acceptance phases.
Candidates must hold a trade apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, along with a BEng (Hons) in an engineering discipline or an HNC in a relevant field. Essential certifications include CSCS, Safe Pass, ECS, or SMSTS, with Prince 2 or equivalent project management qualifications considered desirable.
As the Commissioning Project Lead, you will be pivotal in overseeing the safe, timely, and efficient design, installation, and commissioning of critical systems and IT infrastructure within data centre environments.
This challenging position requires excellent leadership and organisational skills to manage services on and off-site, providing direction to Project Managers, Supervisors, and various sub-contractors as needed.
