The Marketing Communications Intern will support GSACPC’s marketing, communications, and outreach initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, content creation, and copywriting. This paid, 25-hour-per-week internship works closely with the marketing team.

FLSA Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Essential Functions
Assignments are based on team priorities and seasonal needs.
- Draft social media content that aligns with the Girl Scout brand (voice, design, tone, etc.).
- Draft and/or edit marketing materials, emails, Girl Scout Connections magazine articles and website copy.
- Assist with storytelling efforts by gathering program updates, participant stories, photos, and testimonials.
- Monitor social media engagement and compile basic performance reports.
- Support content creative projects, event promotion and community outreach efforts.
- Perform other marketing and communications duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and digital marketing best practices.
- Basic graphic design skills using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Passion for nonprofit work and community impact.
Physical Abilities
- Able to lift 25+ lbs., sit at a computer for three consecutive hours, stand for 2+ hours/day, climb stairs daily.
- Able to work evenings and weekends, when necessary.
- Valid AZ driver’s license.
