Manage the end-to-end procurement of metals, busbars, and electrical components for switchboard production. Develop category strategies to reduce costs and ensure on-time delivery through supplier sourcing and risk management.
Requires 5+ years of experience in procurement or commodity management, preferably within electrical or industrial manufacturing. Must be proficient in running RFQ processes, negotiating contracts, and reading bills of materials.

The Sr Global Supply Manager for the Switchboard category owns the end-to-end buy for everything that goes into a switchboard — metals, busbars, electrical components, and subassemblies. You will run supplier sourcing and negotiations, place and manage purchase orders to keep production on schedule, and build the category strategy that drives cost down and delivery performance up over time. This role is central to keeping our switchboard line fed with the right parts, at the right cost, on time.
This role is based out of our Long Beach facility at 6015 Obispo Ave, Long Beach, CA 90805 and will require 25% travel.
The range provided below is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning it includes both the commission / bonus target and annual base salary for the role (if applicable). This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Giga and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include 401(k) plan plus subsidized medical, dental, and vision benefits.
