We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineers to lead the design, analysis, and execution of complex Hydro Generator projects. You will leverage your expertise in rotating electrical machines to create 3D models, oversee technical documentation, and mentor team members while collaborating across functional systems like Turbines, auxiliaries and Balance of Plant. This role requires the ability to provide expert technical solutions to manufacturing, supply chain, and client stakeholders

Roles and Responsibilities
Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical engineering for Hydro Generators and systems.
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others COEs/systems like Turbine, Auxiliaries and BOP.
Do analytical design calculations, Prepare Basic design layouts, 3 D models and drawings. Review drawings and BOM. Conduct cross-functional and internal design reviews.
Provide technical support and solution to supply chain, manufacturing and site installation teams.
Acts as a mentor for colleagues with less experience. Lead projects with complex contractual requirements. Discuss technical solution with client.
Required Qualifications
This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Component. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
10-15 years of overall experience in product design and min. 5 years of experience in Generator or Rotating electrical machine design.
Proficient in Autocad and any 3D modelling software.
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
