GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Officer) to join our welcoming team at our Chermside Radiation Oncology Centre in Brisbane.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in supporting them throughout their cancer treatment journey. This is a busy, fast-paced role where no two days are the same.

On offer is a permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

More specifically, you will:

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced administrative environment while delivering exceptional patient care.
• Be the first point of contact for patients, providing outstanding service both in person and over the phone.
• Manage a busy workload and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
• Coordinate patient appointments and consultations.
• Process billing and receipting accurately.
• Complete data entry and maintain patient records with a high level of accuracy.
• Support the day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain confidential patient records and documentation.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• Previous experience in a medical reception, healthcare administration or customer service role.
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care and customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• High attention to detail and excellent computer and administrative skills.
• A professional phone manner and confidence managing a high volume of enquiries.
