The Unit Manager is accountable for delivering high-quality, cost-effective healthcare and achieving positive clinical outcomes on their assigned nursing unit. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Director of Nursing, mentoring staff, and overseeing medication management and direct patient care.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a degree (ADN, Diploma, or BSN) and 2-3 years of nursing experience. Additionally, at least one year of nurse leadership experience and a current state nursing license and BLS/CPR certification are required.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Associate Degree in Nursing, three (3) years of nursing experience.
Nursing Diploma, three (3) years of nursing experience. BSN, two (2) years nursing experience.
At least one year of nurse leadership experience is required.
Must possess current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state.
Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
