PAYROLL AND BENEFITS COORDINATOR - GENERATIONS HEALTHCARE NETWORK, Lincolnwood, IL

Generations Healthcare Network, a Healthcare Consulting Organization headquartered in Lincolnwood, Illinios, has an opening for a Full Time Payroll and Benefits Coordinator. The job is seated at our Corporate Offices in Lincolnwood, IL.

~ Must Currently Reside in the Chicagoland Area to be Considered ~

This is a Full Time Opportunity, Paying an Hourly Rate of up to $26.00 per hour, depending upon Level of Experience, Plus Full Benefits, including Choice of Healthcare Plans, PTO, 401k w/Company Match, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Teledoc, and Much More!

Responsibilties of the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator:

• Review timecards for descrepancies
• Make payroll entries
• Calculate bonuses
• Add increases/deductions
• Process payroll
• Print and mail agency checks
• Save final reports

• Administer health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, and wellness programs
• Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS and carrier systems
• Coordinate annual open enrollment, including communications and system updates
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding coverage, eligibility, and claims
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve carrier issues
• Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate benefits records and prepare compliance reports
• Support special projects and continuous improvement of benefit programs
• Manage Union Health & Welfare fund, dues and pension payments

Requirements

of the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator:

• Experience as a payroll clerk; healthcare environment preferred
• Knowledge of Paylocity a plus
• Knowledge of wage withholding orders, including child support
• Experience with HRIS and benefits administration platforms
• Organizational skills for managing enrollments and compliance
• Vendor management and problem-solving abilities
• Data accuracy and record-keeping skills
• Proficient with Microsoft 365, EXCEL
• Strong communication and customer service skills
