The Staff Software Engineer will lead design discussions, oversee service feature integration, and act as the product owner for the scrum team. They are responsible for driving technical roadmaps, ensuring code quality, and mentoring a team of developers in an agile environment.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and possess at least 10 years of relevant software engineering experience. Strong expertise in Java, C++, Spring, and Angular, along with proven leadership and distributed systems experience, is required.
In this role, you will:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum of 10+ yrs of relevant experience.
Desired Characteristics
Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles
• Hands-on experience in C++ and Core Java
• Hands-on experience in utilizing Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Integration and Data)
• Hands-on experience with UI development using Angular. Also, experience in implementing Java OSGi modules and using an OSGi container.
Business Acumen:
• Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
• Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems
• Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks
• Evangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective

• Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
• Influences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas
• Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
