This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supply chain professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and making a direct impact on operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
Develop and manage site manufacturing plans to align production, material availability, and customer requirements.
Manage inventory, stockroom, shipping, and receiving activities to ensure accurate and efficient material flow.
Directly supervise stockroom, shipping, and receiving personnel.
Partner with Supply Chain and Purchasing to ensure materials are available when needed to support production schedules.
Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage manufacturing jobs, material requirements, kitting, backflushing, and inventory transactions.
Maintain accurate serialization, material traceability, and inventory records.
Develop and maintain stockroom and shipping/receiving processes, including cycle-count programs and inventory accuracy reporting.
Train manufacturing personnel on proper ERP/MRP transactions and material documentation.
Analyze production schedules, material requirements, inventory, and shipping performance to identify constraints and opportunities for improvement.
Lead and participate in lean manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives focused on reducing costs, improving lead times, increasing efficiency, and eliminating waste.
Support customer commitments by ensuring orders are planned, fulfilled, and shipped on time.
Prepare planning, inventory, material, and shipping reports for leadership and customers as required.
What You Bring
3+ years of experience in supply chain management, materials planning, production planning, or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; experience with Infor Visual or SyteLine is highly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Hands-on experience with production planning, inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within established timelines.
A customer-focused, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment and adapt effectively to changing priorities.
