The Production Supervisor plays a key leadership role in driving safe, efficient, and high-quality welding operations. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating production activities to ensure customer expectations, quality standards, and productivity goals are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving abilities, a passion for continuous improvement, and a commitment to developing high-performing teams.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, address non-conformances promptly.
Conduct audits (safety, cell conditions, Kaizen) and follow-ups.
Implement Emergency Response Plan.
Manage process quality via start-up checks, reviews, and scrap/rework analysis.
Lead QIR/QPR meetings and corrective actions. Facilitate 8-step problem-solving.
Monitor shipping schedules, inventory, and production planning.
Report finished goods inventory and cell status for overtime planning.
Lead, coach, and motivate team members; promote “lead by example” culture.
Prepare team leaders for shifts; oversee daily startup and broken window meetings.
