Fusion, Inc. provides complete brazing and soldering automation solutions for manufacturers in automotive, aerospace, HVAC, electrical components, tooling, and more industries. Our expertise spans custom-formulated brazing and soldering pastes, precision dispensing equipment, and fully automated assembly solutions designed to enhance efficiency, consistency, and quality in metal joining processes.
Since our founding in 1933, Fusion has played a key role in advancing metal joining technology. We pioneered the introduction of paste solder alloys—carefully blended formulations of atomized filler metal, flux, and binders—revolutionizing the industry by making metal joining more precise and efficient. In the 1950s, we introduced the first automatic paste applicator, allowing manufacturers to dispense solder and brazing alloys with greater accuracy. This innovation laid the foundation for the development of fully automated brazing and soldering systems, streamlining production across multiple industries. In 1959, Fusion's Machine Division was born, making possible the design and manufacture of custom machines which move fixtured parts through precise paste alloy application, heating, and cooling operations.
Headquartered in Willoughby, Ohio, just outside Cleveland, Fusion manufactures hundreds of specialized paste formulations tailored to the needs of our customers. Our Technical Services Group provides expert support in metallurgy and chemistry, ensuring that each brazing and soldering application is optimized for maximum performance. We also conduct feasibility testing on new applications, helping manufacturers refine their processes before full-scale implementation.
By integrating custom pastes, dispensing systems, and automated equipment, Fusion allows manufacturers to place "Total Responsibility" for their brazing and soldering needs with one reliable source.
